Thai medical patient speaks about his recent treatment for Lung disease “IPF” Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis using stem cells.

Idiopathic Pulmonary fibrosis is usually a fatal form of “Pulmonary fibrosis” that of causes scars in the lungs, which then causes the pulmonary air passageways to harden and thicken obstructing the passage of oxygen through the air sacs known as “alveoli”. The lack of oxygen leaves patients with pulmonary fibrosis short of breath even after rest. Treatment involves use of expanded lung epithelial and mesenchymal stem cells to repair the injured lungs or in some cases even reverse chronic lung disease such as IPF, emphysema and COPD.
